Although I am aware that this article is about the current American President Joe Biden, and in light of the gravity of the office he occupies, I for one think he ought to be more careful with his terminology. To state, "I may be a white boy, but I'm not stupid," implies that he thinks people assume he is stupid because he is white. These types of remarks don't advance racial equality in any way. I can only hope that moving forward, President Biden will take the time to choose his terminology more carefully.
